Artists and crafters wanted to set up booths to show and sell their work at the “Art after Dark” Artist and Crafters market on the second Friday of each month from 5-9pm.  (This market will take place indoors from Nov – Mar and outdoors from Apr – Oct).
We are providing this opportunity FREE to the artists and crafters at this time.
Below is a list of requirements to be involved:
•           All artwork must be locally made (in North Carolina)
•           The artist must be present to sell his or her work.
•           Individual spaces will be limited to 10x10
•           Artists must bring tents, tables, chairs, or other material for their display. 
•           Electrical hookups are available, but artists must bring their own electrical cords

To reserve a space, email requested info to fvartscouncil@gmail.com with the words “Artist Market” in the heading.  Spaces can be reserved up to 3 weeks prior to the event.

We will do our best to respond to your reservation request with 2 working days. 

Opportunity to display Artwork / play music/ read poetry, etc. at a participating place of business during “Art after Dark” Art Walks every 2nd Friday in Fuquay-Varina.  While most of our businesses seek out their own artists to display during “Art after Dark,” we do at times assist in this process.  If you would like your artwork to be considered to display at a place of business in Fuquay-Varina during the Art Walk, please send us an email at fvartscouncil@gmail.com including your Name, Address, City, State, Zip, Phone, email, and a website link to your work (if you have one), include “Artwork in Businesses” in the heading.  You are welcome to submit this info along with your request for participation in the Artist Market, and to include both “Artist Market” and “Artwork in Businesses” in your heading.  Due to the limited number of opportunities available for arists in places of business, we will keep your information on file, and will contact you if we have an opportunity available to you in the future.  

Street Performers Wanted:  Local  musicians and entertainers are encouraged to join us in downtown Fuquay-Varina during “Art after Dark” every second Friday to play music and/or entertain the crowds downtown during our monthly Art Walk.  If you would like to join us, please email us a brief description of your performance (music, poetry, dance, etc) along with your name, address, city, state, zip, phone, email, and a weblink to your work (only if you have one).  There is no pay available for this opportunity at this time, but street performers are welcome to set out a place to receive contributions on the night of the performance.
